a pinning success!

so years ago i worked in an office that was FULL of paperwork, phone books, maps, clutter, folders of old files, drawers of old folders, and unnecessary office supplies & fliers.  i had read somewhere that at the beginning of the year, the Japanese do a ritual cleaning of their offices... well this was 10 years ago, i forgot where i heard this and the details are a little off. but the concept is the same. Osouji the Japanese do a ritual cleaning at the END of each year, not the beginning. and its not just of their offices, but of their homes as well. our office needed this and i would've happily had gone in on a weekend with 2 coworkers and a few pizzas and cleared it all out.  but this never happened.  no one really wanted to do it, and i left the company. now here it is - 2018 - and im at a different company in a whole different industry.  and my desk is severely cluttered.  i used to have desk drawers but last year I worked at a client site an...

yes, im still trying to get some stuff done from the january purge.  although the issue im dealing with now is my work office.   i consider the purge "office" category to be referring to the home office.   so technically, i am still sort of and in all other ways on track. my work office is so much chaos, that this morning i came in and the owner had given me a rolling set of drawers because i "have so many goodies on my desk". with a note that said "do you want this". yes, yes i do want this. 

so, i was ready to finish the purging and post all these success photos on 1.31.18.  but life had another plan for me.  ive been down & out with a virus for a week. although luckily i didnt have 'the flu', i did have something crappy, virusy and weeklong.  today, 2.1.18, is the first day im feeling somewhat back to normal.  HOWEVER, its now february.  and i did not complete my january purges.  i do have my bathroom purges done and just havent posted photos yet.  but the bedroom part will be its own monthly purge.  so im going to go ahead and post the february purge list... its a short month, so theres not many categories.   and refrigerator & freezer can go together.  so  continue to purge away!
