so years ago i worked in an office that was FULL of paperwork, phone books, maps, clutter, folders of old files, drawers of old folders, and unnecessary office supplies & fliers. i had read somewhere that at the beginning of the year, the Japanese do a ritual cleaning of their offices... well this was 10 years ago, i forgot where i heard this and the details are a little off. but the concept is the same. Osouji the Japanese do a ritual cleaning at the END of each year, not the beginning. and its not just of their offices, but of their homes as well. our office needed this and i would've happily had gone in on a weekend with 2 coworkers and a few pizzas and cleared it all out. but this never happened. no one really wanted to do it, and i left the company. now here it is - 2018 - and im at a different company in a whole different industry. and my desk is severely cluttered. i used to have desk drawers but last year I worked at a client site an...
