21 Day walking Challenge!!

with an upcoming trip to vegas, where i will definitely be in shorts and at the pool, its time to take care of the parts of me i am not pleased with.  i have exactly 1 month.  i found this on pinterest (PINTEREST!!) and decided to start it and add to it.  even 10 minutes a day is something, right?!  i started yesterday.  i am also doing other things as well, but this is something i can get done during the work day and just see what happens. im not trying to drop weight or make massive changes, just fix some minor issues, so i give you the 21 Day Walking Plan !! http://justhealthystyle.com/21-day-walking-plan-fat-loss/

Wasteful thinking - day 2

So even with reducing waste on my radar, I still had a less than stellar day with my trash creation... 2 Styrofoam cups 3 plastic utensils Now the tea wrapper I recycled ...and I'm keeping and reusing the plastic to go container. I did bring my coffee to work in my reusable mug and that was something! But I can do better. Can you do better today?

What a waste

A friend recently posted on social media about how much plastic we use. It caught my attention. The next day at work I noticed how much trash we make in just 1 day. I share a trash can with my manager and just the 2 of us produce a lot of trash. Today I recorded just what I use during 1 workday. Plastic wrap Cookie wrapper 3 Styrofoam cups 2 plastic stirred 3 plastic spoons Small container 3 napkins And that's just me. My office alone goes thru Styrofoam to go containers, coffee cups, keurig cups, stirrers, and plastic water bottles by the hundreds in a month.  We have a recycle bin but it gets dumped in the trash at the end if the day.  I see plastic bottles in almost every trashcan at every desk. Can I by myself make a difference? I do bring home and recycle my plastic water bottles but I make way more waste in a day sitting at my desk. Can I encourage coworkers to recycle with me? In 1 week what can I do?

March is here. So? New declutter challenges!! I give you...... march! It looks like March is centered on the garage and laundry room.  I will still do a February update but I'm late getting the March challenge out there. So get purging!!

Aloha! I need a protein shake

So I've posted before about Target monthly beauty boxes.  One month they did a Naturals box of organic and natural items. And today I'm finally getting to the protein powder sample.  Aloha I mixed it with some water and chocolate almond milk. Tasted good, easy to drink and ill be going back to buy more. Random challenge! Today I just opened my Pinterest app and whatever I saw on the screen was what I did today. I got 3 pins come up and luckily they are all different categories.
